I also tried changing to internal instead of external just to get connectivity between the host and guests.no success As of now I cannot copy anything between the host and guests at this point. The server is a linux server so I am able to run an 'ethtool eth1' and it verifies the link has connectivity.
Next from the drop down menu select either Bridged Adapter or NAT. Choose the Adapter using which you wish to connect virtual machine to internet connection. Next select Network from the left panel menu. Nic1 just needs to serve an ip to nic2 in order for thw win7 client to connect to the server on nic1. Click on Machine from the top panel menu of Oracle Virtual Box and select Settings. I've also tried removing Hyper-V and adding it again (going thru all the reboot steps). Nic1 is connected to my server vm as its secondary nic and nic2 is the primary nic for a win7 client.
I'm really frustrated as I've tried unintalling the NIC/reinstalling. I have one NIC on this Dell (Broadcomm).its not a production machine so not worried that everything goes thru one NIC. Ease the move to Zero Trust with situational intelligence and connected control points. Security Is a Top-Down Concern Risk related to security, data and privacy issues remains the 1 multi-cloud challenge. As of last week The guest does not get connectivity to the host or external network. 72 of enterprise employees are working from non-traditional environments. Up until recently the guest VM was able to see external networks and the host (the could see the VM as well). I'm using Hyper-V and have several guest VM's.
